Get ready for sun, sea and swimming at Kato Daratso in Chania!
Sunday and we start from our office early in the morning for the Prefecture of Chania where we will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy our swim in the seaside village of Kato Daratso which is located just 4 km from the center of Chania.
It is one of the most popular areas of Chania which is dominated by three picturesque bays with their beautiful sandy beaches, which are awarded the blue flag. In the area there are several organized and non-organized beaches for every taste. The beaches of Agioi Apostoloi and Chrysi Akti to the east are among the most famous.
In addition to swimming in the wonderful waters, it is worth taking a walk as the whole area, hosts small parks with pines and eucalyptus. On the peninsula there is a beautiful grove, which is ideal for walking, but also the church of Agios Apostolos from where the whole area takes its name. Free time for swimming, walking, etc. Early in the afternoon we take the road to our return to Heraklion.
